Seymour's high today was 79.2°, mostly cloudy with 10-15 mph winds. We have had 28mph measured gusts today. The next round of thunderstorms are expect tomorrow and tomorrow night. Spotters are not expected to be activated, BUT we've all heard that term, and know that conditions can change hour to hour. In regard to the "hourly rain" reports to the NWS, I have been advised this is for CoCoRaHS as they have the training and "standard" approved rain gauge. If you are interested in becoming CoCoRaHS trained, please contact you local NWS. In the Indianapolis district, your contact would be Logan Johnson at the NWS/NOAA. In the Jackson County area, you can contact me for training. I can do training outside the Jackson County area with the permission of your local Coordinator and Mr. Logan Johnson.
